Our story
An idea that found its place in the sky over Teotihuacán
The origin of Von Navi and what drives us in Teotihuacán
In 2021 we began imagining the possibility of creating something of our own around aviation and Teotihuacán. That idea would become the origin of Von Navi, a balloon flight experience in Teotihuacán designed to show the Valley from a different perspective.
The journey took us to Albuquerque, where we found an aircraft that would become the starting point of our story: Jupiter. Our first balloon and the beginning of a new chapter.
Because of its size and characteristics, Jupiter represented a challenge that required preparation, experience, and an ever deeper knowledge of balloon flight. Miguel trained specifically to pilot it, and since then every flight has meant continuing to learn, grow, and refine the way we experience the sky over Teotihuacán.
But from the beginning we were clear that Von Navi could not be limited to flying alone.
We like getting to know the people who fly with us. Hearing where they come from, what brought them to Teotihuacán, the experiences they have lived elsewhere, and often the story behind choosing that very day to fulfill the dream of flying.
Some travelers arrive celebrating something important, others have imagined this moment for years, and some arrive a little nervous and end up completely surprised by the experience. For a few hours we share conversations, emotions, laughter, and memories that go far beyond a hot air balloon flight.
That is why for us it is not simply about welcoming passengers, taking off, and saying goodbye after landing. We want to accompany you through an experience you will likely remember for many years.
More than being the ones who made your flight possible, we want to be part of the memory of fulfilling one of the most beautiful dreams: to fly.
Jupiter was the beginning. Since then we have kept growing, learning, and improving every detail to be worthy of those who choose to experience Teotihuacán with us.
